As promised, today, we’re interviewing Lindsey Wahowiak author of our most recent STD Interview as well as the xoJane post titled, ‘The Year of Two STDs or Why My Vagina Has Been on Hiatus.’ Not only was it an absolute delight having Lindsey on the show, she’s agreed to come back and chat with us again – we spoke for a half hour, and I think we just barely skimmed the surface.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting…a Podcast
In an effort to cater to short attention spans (mainly, my own), we keep these podcasts between 10 and 15 minutes in length. When we have guests on the show, sometimes they’re a little bit longer, but we know you’re busy. So, we promise to always do our very best to be as concise as possible.
Today’s Podcast
Today’s podcast runs about 30 minutes in length due to the nature of the podcast. I interview Lindsey Wahowiak, and she shares how she feels about living with an STI/STD, first getting diagnosed, dealing with stigma, and a bit about how she plans to tell her next partner.

Next week, I’ll be talking about why talking about having a sexually transmitted infection (see what I did there?) 🙂 is freeing/healing – whether it be in writing, to a friend, or in a support group – and part and parcel to your healing process. Stay tuned!
