An incredible complement and a wonderful opportunity to reach additional readers who are living with an STI/STD, the BlogHer Publishing Network chose our post as a feature today!
Aside from being honored and ecstatic simultaneously, we’re even further encouraged to continue our work. This is just the beginning of a very progressive movement, folks.
BlogHer
Being featured on the BlogHer network is no easy task. As the largest community of women who blog: 55 million unique visitors per month (October 2012, Nielsen Site Census), there are a wealth of engaged, influential and info-savvy, women who come to BlogHer to seek and share advice, opinions and recommendations.
Placed among the many talented and incredible writers on their site, The STI Project was selected as a feature for their Health section and also appeared on their homepage due to the post we wrote at the beginning of the month and shared with you.
Previously titled, From Modern-Day Leper to STD Advocate, BlogHer revamped the title to Living with an STD: What It’s Really Like for the feature and included a photo to further lend readers an inside perspective.
We are honored, thankful, and indubitably delighted. Thanks so much for your support, BlogHer!
And thank you, readers, for continuing to read our posts, promote awareness, education, and acceptance – all in an effort to eradicate the stigma. Modern-day prevention is happening here and now, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. 🙂
